Neck and Back Pain

3. Strengthening Exercises

Started once pain is reduced:

  • Core Strengthening: Strengthens abdominal and back muscles.

  • Neck Isometric Exercises: Provide support to neck muscles.

  • Postural Muscle Training: Strengthens upper back and shoulder muscles.

4. Manual Therapy

  • Soft tissue mobilization and joint techniques performed by a physiotherapist.

  • Helps reduce muscle tightness and joint stiffness.

5. Posture Correction & Ergonomic Advice

  • Education on proper sitting, standing, and sleeping posture.

  • Ergonomic tips for office work and mobile device usage.

Frequency and Duration

  • Physiotherapy sessions are recommended 2–4 days per week.

  • Regular follow-up of the home exercise program is essential.

  • Noticeable improvement is usually seen within 4–6 weeks, depending on the condition.
